Geographic Eligibility

Participants must maintain legal residency in North America, including the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Not Eligible
  • Tourist or temporary visa holders (e.g., visitor, student, etc.)
  • Those without legal resident status

Residency status must be valid at the time of registration and throughout the competition year.

This policy ensures registration integrity and prevents unverifiable enrollment.

Cutoff date: January 1st, 2026

Participants must meet age requirements as of December 31st, 2025

Recitation with multiple readings

Whole Qur'an Recitation

≤ 40 years

Half Qur'an Recitation (Top Half)

≤ 35 years

5 Ajzāʾ (Top Half)

Preparation

Excellence Standards Required

General Standards

Strong memorization, proper Tajwīd, and mastery of recitation rules required for your category.

Teacher Approval

Teachers must verify student readiness and only approve adequately prepared participants.

Winner Restrictions

Top 3 winners cannot compete in the same or a lower category. Different divisions are allowed.
